A huge thank you today for the Community Outpatient Physiotherapy Musculoskeletal (MSK) Booking Team. They've stepped up to help address backlogs as the number of referrals in to the service has increased since the pandemic.
Outpatient Therapy Service Manager, Nicola Glasby, said: “Colleagues in the booking office, based in Brighouse Health Centre, consistently go above and beyond to make sure services run smoothly for patients and colleagues.
"They put the patients at the front and centre of what they do and all have a can-do approach to all requests.
"In a process driven system, where one size does not always fit all, they exhibit common sense and work with clinicians and managers to find solutions as problems arise. The efficiency and flexibility of the booking office has played a huge part in addressing the Covid backlog and making improvements in the waiting times for MSK and outpatient physio, and quite frankly the services would collapse without them.”
