Last July, Wards 6A and 6B at CRH became two separate wards, with 6A becoming our general medical and endocrinology ward and 6B our general medicine and neurology ward.

Colleagues on both wards recently got together to celebrate one year of being apart. Balloons, food and drinks were brought in to mark the occasion, and a multitude of teams came together to celebrate. Several speeches were given by Ward Mangers, Sisters, Consultants and Ward 6A's Matron, Lisa Richards.

Ward Manager, Rachel Justice and Ward Sister, Katie Hudson, said: "Thank you to 6A and 6B for all your hard work, dedication and commitment. The ward wouldn't be where it is today without you all. Keep up the great work!
