Nutrition Nurse, Emma Wilson, and Lead Nutrition Clinical Nurse Specialist, Jonathan Wood, recently attended the first Yorkshire Enteral Nutrition Nurse Network (YENNN) event, which took place at St James's University Hospital in Leeds.
The event was well attended by nutrition colleagues across the region and provided an excellent opportunity to share evidence of best practice for learning, development and support. Emma and Jonathan were also able to learn from shared experiences which they're hoping to apply to their own clinical practice and research.
Emma said: "From our perspective the practical management tips on extremely complex and persistent leaking gastrostomy sites was really useful and has given us some extra tools to add to our toolkit."
