Colleagues in A&E at CRH are hosting a family fun day on Sunday, 18th August at Siddal Rugby Club, HX3 9EW from 12:00.

A range of activities will be available, including a bouncy castle, tag rugby, face painting and a raffle. Food and drink will also be on offer. The event itself is free but some of the activities will require a donation to help raise money for A&E at CRH. The money will go towards patient funds in order to enhance the care we provide. Items the team are looking into include:

• Dementia friendly aids and a dedicated cubicle for them which looks less like a clinical environment 
• Learning disability activity bags with ear defenders and fidget toys
• A refresh of the mental health cubicle so it looks less clinical
• Educational posters in the waiting room 

The BLOSM Team will also be attending the event to spread awareness and engagement with members of the public.
