August is CHFT's Pride Month. To celebrate, there will be a host of events taking place over the next few weeks. The Pride Network's Chair, Naomi Roberts, kickstarted the celebrations by attending the Happy Valley Pride Big Day Out event at the weekend. She was running a stall there and promoting the theme: "Pride in our Staff, Pride in our Care."

The Pride flags will be raised this week and everyone is welcome to attend to show support and to celebrate all that Pride stands for - inclusivity, community and acceptance. The CRH flag raising will be on Wednesday, 31st July at 13:00 and HRI's will be on Thursday, 1st August at 12:30.

The other events which are taking place include:

Calderdale Pride at the Piece Hall

There will be 16 acts to enjoy, including Totally Tina Turner, Absolute Britney and The Queens of Halifax. The event is free, and anyone can attend.

CHFT's Pride Parade at HRI

This year's Pride Parade will take place on Friday, 30th August at 12:00. The group will meet at the Pride flag at the main entrance to HRI and will parade down to the wellbeing garden. All are welcome.
