Clinical Lead for Children's Occupational Therapy, Wendy Nicholson, and Paediatric Physiotherapist, Debbie Hamilton, recently attended the annual Kirklees Local Offer Live event to provide education and information for those in attendance.

This year it was held at The John Smith's Stadium in Huddersfield. It provides an opportunity to increase awareness of the teams and services available to families in the area.

Wendy and Debbie ran a stall on behalf of CHFT's Children's Therapy Team, where they displayed general information and leaflets alongside small pieces of equipment such as adapted pencils, cutlery, shoes and splints.

Wendy said: "We are an imperative service in supporting children, and their families, with additional needs. This day provides an opportunity to showcase what we can do to support our children and families across the spectrum of disability. It also helps us make links with other services, particularly the services that support our patients, and to share what we can do to support families in our area."

Debbie said: "It was lovely to see many of the parents that we have worked with over the years."
