Development Matron, Frances Howland, wants to give a big shout-out to all colleagues on Ward 11A.

Fran said: "I don't have enough words to thank the wonderful team on ward 11a, who have shown true grit and determination to make an additional capacity ward feel like home to both patients and staff.

"Thank you to all those individuals who have been moved to work on 11a during the winter months, and to those who have never left! They now play an important role in welcoming all our new starters now that the ward is staying open permanently.

"Jordan Brook has done a fantastic job in leading the team to what it is today, and as I hand over the Matron reins to Clair Woodrow, I feel honoured to have been part of such a kind, hardworking team who go above and beyond both for each other and for their patients."
