Last week we began issuing CRH Park and Ride permits to colleagues, ahead of the new service launching a week today, Monday, 22nd July. Here's Specialty Doctor, Reena Kadni, collecting hers from ISS Security Guard, Anna Oleksiuk.
Here are a few updates and important reminders:
The timetables are now available to view so that colleagues can start to plan their route. Open them through these links:
Edited Monday 12 August 24 with the most up to date timetables.
See the new HRI to CRH shuttle timetable here, and the Halifax Loop times here. It's a request stop on the return to Cedar Court from CRH.
The Halifax Loop stops at the Eureka! Overflow Car Park. It is not accessed via the main Discovery Road entrance that the public use. There is a detailed map attached to this article.
How to pause your car parking permit to stop your monthly payments
Restrictions to car parking at CRH come into force on Thursday, 1st August, when the main car park will close. Colleagues can choose to pause their permits, and will not be charged after the end of July.
If you want to pause your permit, you must make sure you are registered on the Nexus Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system. When you register on the car parking pages, please select the Park and Ride Only option.
This applies even if you plan to make your own way to work. We need you to register so that we can remove you from the schedule of monthly payroll deductions.
If you are already on Nexus ANPR, please email your registration number to reset.parking@cht.nhs.uk.
In both cases, please note that you will waive the rights to park in any of our Trust car parks.
You must be registered on Nexus ANPR to use the Park and Ride service
Both High Street and Eureka! overflow car parks will be covered by our Nexus ANPR system. Cedar Court operates its own ANPR system. Colleagues will need to scan a QR code (available on the bus) to register that their car is parked at Cedar Court to avoid being fined. There will also be a device on the bus for colleagues who don’t have a smartphone - and our drivers will help.
If you are not yet registered, you can apply on the intranet car parking pages.
Picking up your permits - please take your current green dashboard permit with you
Please take your current green dashboard permit with you when you collect yours. If your green dash permit is lost or damaged we can replace this on the day but will need to take extra details to confirm you are eligible to receive one.
