It's time to shine a spotlight on Ward 20's incredible weekend Domestic, Honsomsuk Keawta, who prefers to be known as Mai. Each month Mai brings top-ups of shaving foam, body wash, dry shampoo, deodorant, and other toiletries for Ward 20's patients. Her selfless generosity began during Covid, but she continues to bring the supplies in order to help our patients.

Mai recently went to visit family in Thailand and as soon as she got back, came straight to the ward to drop off her monthly donations.

Ward Manager, Amy Scholes, said: "Mai truly has the biggest heart of gold and gives every month without expecting a thing in return. She is kind, caring, keeps the ward spick-and-span on a weekend, and is so lovely with patients and staff! She truly goes above and beyond and cares so much about people. 

"Mai deserves the biggest shout-out for her kindness and for being the positive ray of sunshine she is every weekend. She is so valued and appreciated by our whole team!"
