Nasogastric Feeding Tube Policy (NEW)
Nasogastric tube feeding is the choice for patients who require short term enteral feeding i.e. 4-6 weeks and who have a functioning gastro intestinal tract.
This new policy provides guidance to all healthcare professionals who care for patients with a nasogastric tube. It outlines the responsibilities of all colleagues to ensure practices are upheld and audited.

Surge and Escalation and Full Capacity Protocol Policy (NEW)
The Surge and Escalation Plan including The Full Capacity Protocol outlines the key actions to be taken when the Trust is working at increased levels of pressure. Such circumstances may arise due to a prolonged or sudden increase in demand and/or loss of capacity or services. The Plan is designed to ensure that the risk to patient safety and experience is not concentrated in one area and is managed across the Trust to ensure the continued provision of high-quality care.
Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Group Policy
Simplified policy, which explains the major role of Sypol with clear roles and responsibilities for those required to complete periodic reviews of the COSHH assessments.
