The next Race Equality Network meeting takes place this coming Thursday, 20th June between 13:30 and 14:30 via Microsoft Teams.

Joint Chair and Legal Services Department colleague, Polly Shunje, said: “Colleagues raised their concerns and shared your experiences, and we’ve listened.  We have a great line-up for the meeting and are grateful for our speakers who will cover:

• Director of Workforce and Organisational Development, Suzanne Dunkley, will talk to us about Domestic Violence/Abuse.
• Assistant Director of Nursing, Gemma Puckett, will focus on the problems faced by woman of colour in labour.
• Deputy Medical Director, Neeraj Bhasin, will deliver the Too Hot to Handle report.
• Assistant Director of Human Resources, Nikki Hosty, will share the NHS Workforce Race Equality Standard (WRES) review and outcome

Windrush Flag Raising – this coming Friday, 21st June.
