Former General Manager for Outpatients and Records, Katharine Fletcher, has been in touch with comms to share the sad news that her mum, who also previously worked at CHFT, has died.

Katharine said: "My lovely mum Kathleen Mcevoy passed away peacefully on the 23rd May surrounded by her loving family. 

"Mum was a district nurse in Huddersfield in the early 1960s.  In 1969 she took a post as Staff Nurse at HRI on the private ward and had fond memories of working on the wards. 

"In 1977 mum took on the new role of Occupational Health Sister,  where she developed the service to support hospital and community services staff across Huddersfield, until retiring in 1992."
