This week is Dietitians Week and this year's theme is 'From Classroom, to Clinic and Beyond'.
Student Dietitian, Georgina Wright, pictured middle, is in her final year of her Master's in Dietetics and will soon be embarking on her #TeamCHFT career in the dietetics department. She said: "I have enjoyed studying alongside completing placement. It has helped me understand what I've been taught and allows me to put this into practice. It has been a little stressful at times, but the team are very supportive and have helped me improve my knowledge and confidence in all areas of dietetics.
"My favourite bit about being a dietitian is getting to talk about food all day and helping people achieve their goals and improve their health. I was also able to attend the NG training as an extra opportunity during my placement where I was able to watch a speech and language therapist do a FEES test.
"After graduating, I'll be going on holiday for a break, and then coming back to work at CHFT as a qualified dietitian. I am looking forward to starting off my career as a dietitian and hopefully finding the area of dietetics I would like to specialise in."
