HRI Discharge Lounge Ward Manager, Kath Stubbington, has a special message for two international nurses who have been in Yorkshire for just over a year.

She said: "The two wonderful girls in the picture are my staff nurses, Grace Bayode, left and Joy Okoro.

"Grace and Joy came over from Nigeria on 8th March 2022 and have been with us on the discharge lounge ever since.

 "They been through the coldest weather they've ever seen, and in an ever-changing ward environment they have risen to every challenge thrown their way. We wouldn't be without them now and I think the world of them.

"They show such commitment and compassionate care. They are so hardworking and truly lovely."
