On Saturday, some of the Community Quest team, along with their children, did the Glow Walk in aid of Alzheimer's Society.

Quest Matron Team Leader, Emma Vant, said: "I am really proud to say that we have collectively raised over £500.

"We all did this walk for different reasons. My mum was diagnosed with Alzheimer's just over a year ago, so my daughter and I were walking in aid of my Mum.

"Alzheimer's Society gives help to those that have been diagnosed with Dementia and provide hope for the future with research into better ways of treating and caring for people with dementia.

"Quest Matrons support those residents in care homes who may have a diagnosis of Dementia, so this charity is very close to all of our hearts."
