Ahead of the 40th Volunteers' Week, which runs from Monday, 3rd June to Sunday, 9th June - we're asking for colleagues to share their messages of thanks to our fabulous volunteers.

Volunteering Project Lead, Stevie Cheesman, said: "Our 250 plus volunteers always go above and beyond in the service they provide to patients, colleagues and visitors with many going beyond their role description to support the Trust when asked.

"They've supported national strike action, distributed water bottles, fans and lollies during heatwaves, got involved with engagement events, supported during winter pressures, and so much more outside of their appointed to volunteering role, truly stepping up and demonstrating our values and behaviours.

"It's hugely important that we share our sincere thanks for all they do for us and our patients."

Your messages of thanks will be displayed by Stevie at an appreciation event on Monday, 3rd June.
