After 40 years of service, we've bid a fond farewell to Porter, Danny Tyndall, who has recently retired.
His portering colleagues at HRI gave him a special send-off on the day of his retirement which included a lovely lunch and a collection to thank him for his years of hard work and service.
Facilities Manager, Chan Dhaliwal, said: "Danny was a well-respected colleague who had a wealth of knowledge on all things portering. He always supported his fellow colleagues in times of need and made us chuckle with his sharp-witted answers that cut right to the core of any issue.
"We were all sad to see him go as he was such an integral part of the portering team. Congratulations on your well-deserved retirement and we hope you enjoy every moment of this next phase of your life, Danny."
In his retirement Danny will be enjoying spending more time with his hobbies - cycling, going to the gym and supporting Huddersfield Town!
