This month's Staff Lottery draw saw Gynaecology Trainee Nursing Associate, Rebecca Swales, win not only the 2nd prize (£250), but also the 5th (£30).

Although a double win is a first for our Staff Lottery, this isn't the first time Rebecca has won. In the past she has also won the 1st prize!

Talking about her most recent win, Rebecca said: "It has come in handy as we go on holiday to Whitby the day after we get paid - so extra ice creams and fish and chips! I'm sure some of it will go on the slot machines too.

"The staff lottery is a great way to support patients and colleagues, I don't miss the lottery payment from my wage, and it's a lovely surprise to get an email to say I am a winner. I would definitely advocate for colleagues to join the Staff Lottery."

• Around 50% of the money paid by colleagues through their salary is paid out in prizes each month.
• It costs £2 per line, which is paid from your salary
• The main prize is £1000 monthly, with a £5000 jackpot paid out in November
• The remaining funds are used to be used to benefit the health and wellbeing of colleagues and patients, through bids made to the committee.
