It's the last few days for nurses, midwives, doctors, dentists, ancillary, admin, managerial and clerical staff to nominate themselves in our Council of Governors elections.

As a Foundation Trust, our Council of Governors make sure the Board is doing the best it can to provide services that meet the needs of our patients.

Our Chair, Helen Hirst, recorded this short video about the governor role, saying: "Being a staff governor can give you real experience of Board level work. It's a worthwhile and rewarding position."

The dedicated elections website will close for nominations at 17:00 this Wednesday, 22nd May.
