In response to what colleagues told us in the NHS Staff Survey, we have a new in-house telephone helpline at CHFT called Wellbeing Connect.

It can be used by colleagues at any time to signpost to wellbeing support on offer. After calling the number, Wellbeing Connect will ask you to choose from various options and will then signpost you to the relevant support depending on your needs. The number to call is: 01484 344 282.

Elements of this service are accessible 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, and it forms part of a range of emotional and financial wellbeing services to support your journey to a healthier and happier you at CHFT.

Changes to our Employee Assistance Programme provider

We have changed our Employee Assistance Programme from Care First to Vivup. Vivup offers a 24/7 phoneline offering free, impartial and confidential advice, information and counselling. You can call them to talk through a range of issues including work related problems, financial troubles and home stresses. Call their free number: 08000 239 324.

Vivup provides a new additional benefit where colleagues can access an Online GP. Consultations are available via video or phone 7 days a week from 8am-10pm (excluding UK bank holidays).

You can also register online to access a range of free resources.

Executive Director of Workforce and Organisational Development, Suzanne Dunkley, said: "Your feedback from the staff survey continues to highlight the importance of the positive action that the organisation is taking in respect of support with your wellbeing. We heard what you were saying and these two wellbeing channels will enable CHFT to refresh our offer ensuring that it meets your needs, is accessible and valued."

You can visit our wellbeing pages on the intranet if you need any more information about wellbeing support at CHFT.
