Get yourself signed up for this year's inter-trust cricket tournament between CHFT and The Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust. You've got until Friday, 24th May to register.

The tournament will be held on Saturday 8th June, between 10am and 5pm, at the Cricket Asylum in Sowerby Bridge. Last year's match went down a treat and our Charity are hoping to repeat the same level of success this year.

CHFT Charity Manager, Emma Kovaleski, said: “The inter-trust cricket tournament is an amazing opportunity to come together with fellow CHFT colleagues and enjoy an action packed, fun filled day of cricket. You don't need to be an experienced cricket player to take part, as we have the brilliant team at The Cricket Asylum to support everyone throughout the day.

"Food and drink will be available for everyone who comes along and we are encouraging players to bring along their friends and family members to cheer team CHFT along from the sidelines.”

The proceeds will again be split between the two Trusts’ charities and The Cricket Asylum Foundation.

How to get involved

  • You can register to play as an individual, or as a team of six. There is a registration fee of £15 per player, which will be shared between all three charities – we have 24 spaces for CHFT colleagues
  • No equipment will be needed as it will be provided
  • The tournament is open to colleagues only and we’ll welcome spectators along to support the players
  • There will be a kit library at the event where players and spectators can donate old and unwanted equipment. The library supports under-privileged families and those who may not normally be able to take part in a sport they’d love to play
