Our Pride Network has an exciting few months planned and is looking for new members. The network will be hosting monthly catch ups to discuss various topics and ways to implement inclusivity and change at CHFT.
They will also be working on a pronoun campaign to raise awareness of the importance of sharing your pronouns.
Chair of the Pride Network, Naomi Roberts, said: "The network is a safe space for any of our LGTBQ+ colleagues, but you don't need to be LGTBQ+ to join. I wear this rainbow because there are still people in this world that think it's better to be dead than to be gay, or trans, or different. The network is for anyone who wants to be a safe space for those people. It's also a place to meet amazing people, have fun, and leave the world a little bit better than we found it.
"The mission of the Pride Network is to create a culture of inclusivity, support, and advocacy for LGBTQ+ employees within CHFT. We strive to create a safe and welcoming environment where all staff members, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression, feel valued, respected, and empowered to thrive and be their most authentic selves"
