To celebrate their 100th anniversary, local knitting group Inner Wheel Brighouse planned to donate 100 knitted hats for our newborn babies. They doubled their original target and recently donated 203 hats to our Maternity department.

The knitted hats were presented last week to Maternity Matron, Ann Frost, and Deputy Ward Manager, Kath Ferguson. The hats are colour-coded red, yellow and green, and are used for babies following birth to identify risk and the care required as an inpatient.
