CHFT Governor Elections begin this week, and we have vacancies for four staff governors in these groups:

• Nurses/Midwives
• Doctors/Dentists
• Ancillary
• Admin/Managerial/Clerical

As a Foundation Trust, our Council of Governors are there to make sure the Board is doing the best it can to provide services that meet the needs of our patients.

Our Chair, Helen Hirst, has recorded a short video about the governor role. Helen said: "Being a staff governor can give you real experience of Board level work. It's a worthwhile and rewarding position."

The nominations window opens on Wednesday 24 April, and closes on Wednesday 22 May at 5pm. 

Colleagues in the groups listed above will get an e-mail from our elections provider, Mi-Voice, on Wednesday, with all the information needed to submit a nomination for the role.
