Huge thanks to former patient, David Firth, who visited colleagues on Ward 10 HRI to deliver a massive thank you and two televisions.

Matron for General Surgery and Speciality Services, Sarah Wallwork, pictured right, said: "David was incredibly grateful for the care he received during his stay on ward 10. He told them that the television they provided him saved his sanity.

"Colleagues on the ward were delighted to see David again, and so fit and well. I think they were a little overwhelmed and extremely thankful for his kind gifts. Surgical Coordinator, Dawn Moss, second from right, said that his smile and heartfelt thanks speak for themselves."
