Last Wednesday our BLOSM team hosted a visit from NHS England, who came to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary for the morning to hear about how organisations across West Yorkshire, including CHFT, are supporting children and young people with complex mental health conditions.
Sarah Brown, Head of Children and Young People's Mental Health, Laura Whixton, Mental Health Support Team National Lead and Amina Bristow, Children and Young People's Mental Health Delivery Lead for North East and Yorkshire, attended on the day on behalf of NHS England.
The event was also attended by colleagues from ED, paediatrics and CAMHs and was introduced by Chief Executive, Brendan Brown.
On the day there were also presentations from West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board and The Croft, which provides residential support for young people in Wakefield.
Alistair Christie, BLOSM Service Lead, said: "It was a fantastic morning, and we were very proud to share the work that we've been doing over the past 12 months with our national colleagues.
"It was also fascinating to hear about the other work happening across West Yorkshire to support children and young people."
