Some lovely feedback has come in from Keith Wilkinson, the son of a patient who recently died.
Keith received a bereavement box sent in the post from the End of Life Care Team. The boxes are sent to the next of kin of all patients who have died. Included in the box are an assortment of thoughtful gifts, including a handmade heart, a handwritten card, and a packet of seeds.
During a bereavement call, Keith commented on his box, stating: “The handmade heart and the card absolutely blew me away. It was the most touching thing I’ve ever come across…so unexpected and thoughtful. I can’t tell you how much it meant to me and my family.”
What wonderful comments for our End of Life Care Team, made up of Andrea, Eilidh, Christine (pictured), Alex and Gillian.
