Almost a year on from our first-ever Nursing and Midwifery Conference, our Chief Nurse, Lindsay Rudge, is seeking views from nursing and midwifery colleagues on how we can achieve our four ambitions over the next five years.

Feedback since the conference has shown that colleagues want more creative input into building and creating a shared vision for nursing and midwifery.

Lindsay said: “Involving our nursing and midwifery colleagues and our students is pivotal to making sure the ambitions we create can be achieved in a true #TeamCHFT effort.

“Their passion for sharing their ideas has shone through. Because of that, we’re calling them ambitions rather than a strategy as we know that what we can achieve together could be limitless.”

The four ambitions are: Professionalism, inclusivity and civility, Leadership in every seat, Models of care and Lifelong learning.
