Colleagues have until Sunday, 31st March to use their ID badge to gain entry to or exit from a ward or department.
If after that time, they’ve not used their ID badge for that reason within the past six months, their card will be deactivated, and their line manager will have to request reactivation. This work is being completed as we look at strengthening our security measures.
What to do next
To make sure their badge is not removed from the system after 1st April, colleagues are advised to use their badge within the next fortnight to gain access or leave an area.
