A new patient portal called DrDoctor will be turned on at CHFT on at 08:00 on Wednesday, 27th March.

DrDoctor will replace our current provider of appointment letter and texts, a company called Healthcare Communications.

Do I need to know anything that might affect my patients?

Teams and areas who currently use Healthcare Communications are being briefed and trained on the new system.

From the 27th March, patients will receive texts from a different number – 07860 039092 which is the one used nationally by DrDoctor. We are unable to personalise the name to Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust.

Please make a note so that your patients know it’s a genuine number and not scam.
