Here at CHFT we generate a serious amount of domestic waste – in fact it’s the equivalent in weight to 190 fully grown African elephants. Yet we currently recycle around 30 percent of it.

The great news is that none of the waste we produced went to landfill last year – a significant step towards us achieving what we’ve set out to achieve in our Green Plan.

This is one of our Green Plan commitments to save energy and improve recycling.
