Dietetic Assistants, Shamila Tufail, Aminah Ziarab and Majjda Jamil will be visiting our wards this week, to raise awareness of malnutrition and dehydration. They'll also be offering malnutrition (known as MUST) training. Information will also be given to colleagues on how to refer to dieticians and what the criteria is for referrals. 

If you would like to brush up on your nutrition and hydration knowledge, you can find plenty of information on the Nutrition and Hydration Week website.  There will also be information stands at the main entrances of our hospitals.

How ISS are supporting the week

Our colleagues from ISS at CRH will be showcasing some of the food they serve to patients. Join them this Wednesday, 13th March in the main entrance between 13:00 and 14:00.

Huge thanks to them as they're also serving afternoon tea to patients on Thursday.
