Feedback from previous training dates includes:

CHFT Senior Physiotherapist: “It worked! I saw a patient today who was looking very low in mood, and I used some of the training, not skimming over the issue, asking the patient if we can spend a few minutes discussing this, showing empathy and relating what he said back to him.

“Sentences like: 'this sounds really hard for you' and 'correct me if I'm wrong', really helped me listen to him. He was happy to discuss this, and it felt worthwhile."

CHFT District Nurse: “Thank you so much for the session, me and a colleague who attended the same Hub have already begun to share what we learned. It’s so easy to put into practice immediately.”

CHFT Nurse: “I feel so much more comfortable to acknowledge and ask about cues I have noticed that someone might not be okay. It only takes a minute or two more to show someone you really care and link them in with the right support.”
