Vascular nursing and MDT colleagues are invited to a one-day learning event, ‘Care of the Vascular Patient’, on either Tuesday, 30th April or Friday, 21st June, hosted by the West Yorkshire Vascular Service (WYVaS) and Sheffield Vascular Institute.

Colleagues will be joined by WYVaS Chief Nurse Amanda Stanford as well as members of the national AAA screening team, the Society of Vascular Nurses and the Circulation Foundation.

The agenda will be targeted at colleagues who want to learn new skills and explore different ways of working from peers across West Yorkshire and Sheffield. The day will include talks from leading vascular clinicians on urgent vascular assessment pathways, as well as practical sessions for developing clinical skills and focused presentations on innovative developments in vascular nursing.
