As ever, colleagues took the snow in their stride last week, including the Children’s Community Team, who were all busy delivering patient care across Calderdale and Huddersfield.

Children's Community Nursing Team Manager, Joanne Ineson, said: “Our families and patients were very grateful for our visits, which are so important to them. It means their children can access the medical and nursing care that is required in their homes to prevent them from attending hospital.

“This is Marie Beeson our fabulous Staff Nurse in the team. Marie and the team covered areas out as far as Todmorden yesterday in the snow and as you can see did some of their visits on foot.

“Big shout-out to all the team for their amazing efforts!”
