No soggy chips will be in sight with a new Click and Collect system - coming later this month to Southside Dining at HRI.

Colleagues will be able to order their food from an app. They will then be able to collect it at an allocated time from one of the heated pods designed to keep food warm, so no more waiting in line to buy food in their precious break times.

CHS Retail Manager, Lorraine Racchi, said: "We're excited to be almost ready to launch Click and Collect, and if all goes well, we'll be fully up and running by the end of the month. We're in the final throes of testing the equipment, including experimenting with our packaging to make sure there won't be any soggy chips.

"We appreciate colleagues don't get a long break for lunch and are trying to make things as easy and speedy as possible. It should also hopefully ease the queues at lunchtimes. Following feedback, we've already added a second till to aim to get more colleagues served as quickly as possible."
