A final reminder to book your spot at the Children and Young People's Mental Health Professional Summit which is taking place this Friday.

The focus of the event is on integrating practice and collaboration. All colleagues who are involved in the care of young people (up to 18 years) are invited to attend. There will be speakers from NHS England, Clinical Health Psychology, The BLOSM Team, Huddersfield University and CAMHS Crisis. A light lunch will also be provided.

Head Nurse, Louise Riby, said: "Mental Health in Children and Young People has become an emerging pressure within our paediatric services. It is so important we work together to improve the care we provide for children, young people and their families, when they are faced with mental health crisis. This is a great opportunity for staff and wider partners to come together and build on relationships, raise awareness and provide a platform for innovating thinking."

The summit will be taking place in the Learning Centre at HRI between 10am and 4pm on Friday, 9th February. If you would like to book your place, please email angie.salmons@cht.nhs.uk
