A new leaflet has been developed by the End-of-Life Care Team for the relatives of patients who are being supported by the last days of life document.

The leaflet is called The Care and Support of the Dying Patient in CHFT and can be found on the patient leaflet repository. It contains valuable advice and support for relatives.

Ward 22 Manager, Denice Cowgill, said: “This information will be really useful for relatives of patients receiving end-of-life care. There is easy-to-read information about what a relative can expect, and also what is available within the ward environment and in the Trust. The café opening times are helpful, as relatives often need a break from the ward at times when visiting their loved ones.”
