Colleagues in the Maternity Antenatal Clinic Team are greatly saddened to announce that their beloved friend and colleague, Jacqueline Hunter (Jackie), died peacefully at Overgate Hospice on New Year's Day.

Jackie moved to Yorkshire with her Husband Neil from Hartlepool, and started work in 1989 at the then Halifax General Hospital in the filing room. In 1992, Jackie was appointed Supervisor of Maternity Reception where she remained for the rest of her career.

For 30 years, Jackie has been the smiling face who greeted our women and families on arrival in Antenatal Clinic.

Jackie will be greatly missed by all who knew her, and the clinic team will miss her laughter and humour.

Her funeral will he held on Monday, 22nd January at 13:15 at Fixby Crematorium, then onto Rastrick Bowling Club.
