The Todmorden District Nursing Team are finalists in the Pride of Todmorden Awards.

This is the first year that Todmorden has held an award ceremony to recognise local people for their achievements.

There are 20 categories in which people or groups could be nominated, such as volunteer, community group and promotion of the arts.

The Todmorden District Nursing team has been nominated in the Healthcare Worker category and will find out if they have been successful when they attend the awards ceremony on Friday 17th March.

Clinical Manager, Jayne Woodhead, said: "I’m really proud of the team and all that they have managed to achieve. It would be fantastic if they won the award in recognition of all their continued hard work and the compassionate care which the people of Todmorden receive. Either way, they're all winners in my eyes."
