Here’s a fab photo of last week’s first-ever Band 5 Peer Support Group – after a rapid growth of the team over the summer.
OT Clinical Educator, Jessica Loxam, kneeling in the spotted dress, said: “Following a large recruitment drive over the summer, we have expanded our band 5 OT workforce from four to 16.
“As OT Clinical Educator, I am passionate about ensuring we are meeting their clinical skills training needs, supporting their wellbeing and providing career development opportunities within the Trust.
“I was over the moon when Non-Executive Director, Denise Stirling, accepted an invite to attend the first peer support group to come and share her career story from working as a clinical OT to progressing to her current role at CHFT. She provided a really inspiring talk with invaluable advice for our new workforce as they set off on their OT career journey. I cannot thank her enough.”
