Almost 90% of colleagues in the Huddersfield Pharmacy Specials (HPS) Team have completed the annual NHS Staff Survey, up more than 20% on last year. And it sees the team top the leader board for responses so far in this year’s survey campaign, which ends on Friday.

Managing Director, Dr Burrinder Grewal, said: “We have actively engaged, worked with, and listened to colleagues and then put in place a program of initiatives that addresses the needs of colleagues and improves the working environment at HPS.

“Our colleagues understand that having a high response rate will provide us with better and more comprehensive information for future improvements. They also felt that previous staff surveys yielded results that weren’t a true reflection of the culture at HPS and that also explains the higher response rate.”

Phillip Ryan and Andrew Cooper, pictured, work in the Development Team at HPS and have completed their surveys.

They said: "We feel it’s important for all members of staff to share their opinions so as a whole we can work together to improving the working environment and in turn, everyone's wellbeing in the workplace."

The survey closes this coming Friday, 24th November.
