We’re still buzzing from last Thursday’s annual CHuFT Awards – and our Deputy Medical Director, Neeraj Bhasin is still trying to remove the blue glitter from his beard!

Our Chair, Helen Hirst, who closed the ceremony after an inspiring night referenced the glitter. She said: “I’ve been proud and privileged to hear all your stories tonight. Every single person here tonight is living One Culture of Care.

“What’s amazing is that 700 colleagues make up the 339 nominations we had this year – that’s an impressive 10 per cent of our workforce.

“I think tonight will be remembered as the night of the glitter beards and I don’t relish you trying to remove the glitter from your beds in about a week’s time.

Deputy Director of Operations for FSS, Sarah Clenton, who was with the winning Radiology AI Team, bought everyone on the night Sid the Skeleton earrings, and most of the team managed to wear them, but not all in their ears!

Take a look at this video which gave a glimpse into all the fun of Awards night.
