As part of our work to support our local hospices, next week we'll become a local donation hub for The Kirkwood.

Colleagues, patients and visitors can bring their unwanted items in to donate to a good cause, rather than having to make a separate trip to a charity shop.

The team will take anything you'd normally donate - so clothes, household items, pots, pans, toys, shoes etc. They'll also take electrical items and small pieces of household furniture.

There will be donation points in the main entrance at HRI and Acre Mills Outpatients - and colleagues can drop off between 9am and 5pm when Kirkwood staff will be on hand with vans.

We will also be working with Overgate Hospice in the future - so watch this space.
