Big thanks to our EQUANS partners who bailed out Nurse Associate, Nicola Garnett, twice when her car broke down at CRH.

One was when, on a cold wintry day, her car wouldn’t start and an EQUANS colleague, thought to be Supervisor David Illingworth pictured, spotted her and shouted to his pals: “Bring the booster - this lady’s car won’t start.” And got it going.

And a second time, there was a burning smell coming from the car when she dropped her mother-in-law off at A&E.

She says: “EQUANS guys came over to my car and saw me quite distressed with my little girl in my arms. They checked my car over and found it to the fan belt had gone and told me where to take it to a garage and reassured me it wouldn't cost too much.”

Feeling like a “damsel in distress”, she adds: “Every time I drive to work now I feel a sense of relief knowing the EQUANS guys are around and will always try to help a damsel in distress if needed. 

So just want to say THANK YOU to them from the girl with the silver (always-broken) Corsa…THANK YOU”
