Here's Fred Bouckley, father-in-law of former Head of Occupational Health and CHFT legend, Christine Bouckley - with his wife Margaret - as they celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary last week on Ward 6c.

Christine felt compelled to leave a review on the NHS website following Fred's visit to CRH A&E, saying: "Undoubtedly you saved his life and the family is indescribably grateful. Everything you did was efficient and caring."

She said: "They all deserve so much praise. He's on the mend now on Ward 6c with the lovely Alison Coates who also deserves a shout out for her excellent information and advice.

Fred and Margaret are pictured with Staff Nurse, Natalie Dyson, on their anniversary - with a telegram from the new King and Queen Consort.

"Fantastic service

Brought my father in law to CRH A&E this week and was delighted by the swift and kind service provided to him. Undoubtedly you saved his life and the family is indescribably grateful. Everything you did was efficient and caring.

The attention to detail impressive and the clear information given to us and dad in ways he could understand even in his distress was excellent. As a retired nurse with over 36 years in the NHS its still astounding to me how impressive the service is even in the peak of demands and pressures."
