Colleagues in the Community Respiratory Team are remembering colleague, Jan Lord. Here's their moving tribute:

As some of you will know, our friend and colleague Jan Lord has sadly died, having lost her courageous battle with cancer.

Jan has worked for the Trust for 20 years, having worked on the Respiratory Ward, Medical Assessment Unit and Short Stay Ward, before settling in her dream job as Respiratory Nurse specialist within the Community Respiratory Team.

Jan was a pleasure to know and work with and will be missed by all whose life she had touched, patients included.

The Respiratory Team has a Jan shaped hole which will never be filled, but we have memories and lots of laughs which will keep driving us forward and continue to put our patients first as our Jan always did.

Rest in peace Jan.  Love always.
