The Awards Team are keen for as many colleagues as possible to share the atmosphere this year, so in a thrilling first for CHFT, colleagues can this year watch our CHuFT Awards as they happen.
The ceremony takes place at The Arches in Dean Clough this Thursday evening, and colleagues who haven't won an elusive Golden Ticket, but who want to get in on the action, can watch via livestream.
The link will be added to the homepage of the intranet on Thursday. If you have Teams on your mobile devices you can watch it here, from 20:30. The ceremony will take around an hour. Save the link and be part of the action.
Some of our Putting People First finalists have been telling us what it feels like to be a finalist:
Freedom to Speak Up Guardian, Andrea Gillespie, said: "When the email informing me that I had been nominated appeared in my inbox I thought there must have been a mistake and didn’t tell anyone about it other than my family! So when I heard that I was a finalist I was over the moon. I have worked at CHFT for many years and never attended the awards ceremony so can’t wait to attend and see what happens."
Medical Human Resources Manager, Pauline North, said: "When I got the message to say I had been nominated for an award I was really 'CHuFT'. I never expected to be shortlisted though, so hearing my name as a finalist was a real shock! It's been a really challenging year and knowing that someone has gone to the trouble of submitting a nomination has been very humbling and quite emotional for me. I am really grateful to whoever it was that took the time to complete the application."
Maternity Health Advisor, Lucy Pendlebury, and Maternity Support Worker, Naomi Hegney, are part of the Maternity Health Advisor Team. Lucy said: "We are honoured to have been picked to be finalists. It was a surprise to be nominated but to know that our hard work over the last 12 months creating a new service within maternity has been recognised, has made us feel that our service is highly valued by the Trust and the women and families we support. We are super excited to be able to attend the awards night alongside our team."
Nurse Specialist, Victoria Evans, said: "I feel extremely honoured and proud that I have been shortlisted for this award especially this category. I'm very proud that those efforts have been acknowledged and recognised and I'm so lucky to have my team who makes all of what I strive to do possible. Thank you."
