Last but no means least today are some thoughts of a few Work Together Get Results finalists and nominator.
Head of Estates, Tom Donaghey, gave a quote on behalf of the ED Transition, saying: "It's been an honour to be part of the team delivering the new A&E. It's a fantastic achievement and something everyone should be very proud of. To be a part of the finals is great recognition of the teamwork."
Nurse Manager, Lesley Walker, nominated the Cancer Nurse Specialist Team.
She said: "I just had to nominate all the teams involved both within our triaging service and those who support the investigation of a patient's journey.
"They all embraced the challenge, and have shown how much more we can achieve by working closely together. I am privileged to be part of these teams. I am proud of the achievement we have made, and getting this far is excellent recognition for everyone's hard work."
Specialist Nurse, Anthony Thomas, gave a quote on behalf of the Pre-Child Bereavement Project Team, saying: "We're really humbled and grateful that our project was nominated, as this will surely help to raise more awareness and support for the project, and in turn help more pre-bereaved children and families. None of which, would be possible without the families and teams who have supported the innovation."
