We’re shining a light on our next group of finalists for the Go See category of the CHuFT Awards.
Included are the AHP Workforce and Education Team, Head of Therapies Jennifer Clark, Matron Karen Farrar, Operating Services Transformation and Modernisation Team and the Clinical Site Team – Patient Flow.
All our finalists have been nominated because they have strived to seek out, go see and implement excellence in their workplace.
Clinical Operations Managers, Emma Mooney and Amy Shedden, who are part of the Operating Services Team, said: “We were really CHuFT to have been nominated in this category. We were more than happy with our pin badges, so to be a finalist is amazing!
“We are so grateful to have been recognised for our multiple Go Sees since starting our new role in May. These visits have helped the teams within operating services make improvements that will benefit our patients and the service we provide. It has been really interesting to take members of our teams to see how other trusts work and bring back key ideas and innovations. We already have more visits in the pipeline.”
Matron, Karen, said: “I am extremely surprised and humbled to have been nominated. After nearly 35 years in nursing, I can honestly say that I have the same passion and commitment that I did when I first started. It’s an absolute privilege to be a nurse and make a difference to not only the patients, but the staff that I work with.”
